About Taiwan Shuraba

Not a lot of people probably know this,

but our company actually runs a related site called "Taiwan Shuraba."

It's a doujinshi storefront aimed at Japanese customers,

and its main business is bringing doujinshi from our artist friends in Taiwan over to sell in Japan.

It's actually been running for five years now 😂

I started it while working at a Japanese game company,

running it together with a friend of mine in Japan.

It all started when K asked if I could help distribute his book in Japan,

and back then it was just listing it under his circle's name at shops like Toranoana and Melonbooks,

plus tabling at Comiket. (Though after the pandemic hit, we stopped doing in-person events as much.)

Over time it grew beyond just him, with more and more artist friends joining in,

so we set up a website to sell books directly (though the major shops still carry them too),

and it's still going strong today.

These days most of my time goes into Live2D commissions and teaching,

so my friend in Japan handles most of the day-to-day for Taiwan Shuraba now.
