Turns Out the LINE Stickers I Made 2 Years Ago Are Still Selling

Two years ago, LINE invited me to make two official sticker sets

using Live2D — the "Calligraphy Master" packs: ---Calligraphy Master 1---

That was the first time I'd made official stickers for them, but since LINE also lets independent creators self-publish sticker packs,

I'd already put out plenty of my own before that.

Based on my past experience selling personal sticker packs, the sweet spot for sales is usually the first three months after launch,

after that, sales tend to nosedive and level off at just a handful a month.

Unless it's a series that's genuinely popular,

in which case a new release can sometimes give the older ones in the series a small sales bump too.

But with these two official sets I made two years ago,

maybe because the official account keeps promoting them or there are occasional tie-in events,

they're still selling every single month, which honestly surprised me,

last month alone brought in around ¥60,000 JPY (for official stickers, they email you a sales report every month).

And that's not even close to ranking on the charts,

which makes me realize just how loaded the creators who consistently top the LINE sticker charts, like that famous XX Cat account, must be 😆
